To create a magazine/book with real world circumstances that are so insane, illogi cal and utterly unbelievable that any sane person must come to the con clusion that the magazine/book (using contents from real world articles) has come from a reality in which there is a funhouse world run by clowns. However, it is a cruel and unrelenting portrayal of the current state of the world and the people who sustain it, creating a stark reflection of that world. I want to portray the heart of the world and, in the process, turn what should remain dark and satiric humour into clown revelation. Although this will be marketed as comedic and somewhat ironic, there is much more depth than immediately meets the eye.

How has the current state of affairs of the world broken through the boundaries of nihilistic chaos into the absurd territories of clown revelation?

David Carson’s style and attitude towards legibility as well as being able to create the perfect balanace between chaos and controlled typography through rejecting the standard conventions of utilizing grids formats, consistent layouts, and information hiearchy.

World Peace’s (Adult Swim TV show) love for the post modern world which is seen through the utilisation of the combination of crude graphics and satire comedy that are presented a hyperagressive manner as a way to deliever his joke/mes sages

The Royal Studio’s mixing of textures, fluorescent colours, media and effects that amplifies their vibrant contemporary design beyond the realms of trendy-ness.
